HISTORIC VILLA RETREAT

The history of El Patio del Nogal begins in the 16th century

WITH ELEMENTS OF NATIVE ARCHITECTURE AND AUTHENTIC TREASURES SUCH AS ITS BEAUTIFUL POOLS AND GARDENS.

From the very beginning, we wanted to respect the heritage and essence of such a special place. Simple lines combined with the most modern materials to create an atmosphere of absolute comfort.

Where trust met tradition and collaboration kissed refinement, a rural haven bloomed. This unique complex seamlessly blends classic lines with contemporary touches, echoing the soul of the village and whispering harmonies with nature.

As you arrive at the villas, an aura of serenity instantly envelops you. The echoes of history resonate within their walls, setting the stage for a truly remarkable experience.

THE SECRET LIFE OF OUR GARDENS

A Legacy of Medicinal Herbs, Echoing Through the Ages

Immerse yourself in nature's tranquility and soak in breathtaking panoramas from an exclusive perspective in the heart of Guadalupe. Find solace under the boughs of a venerable walnut tree, where the gentle rhythm of cascading water from fountains and a 16th-century pool harmonizes with the rustling leaves, creating an environment of pure relaxation and wellness.
Cascading down the hillside, our centuries-old gardens, once the natural pantry for the many hospitals that dotted Guadalupe, are adorned with an abundance of medicinal plants and fruit trees.

Lavender, sage, laurels or orange trees color a space where you can also take a break in the pool while admiring the beauty of the Monastery.

ART WHISPERS FROM EVERY WALL

Manuel Cruz Fernández, master of Spanish portraiture

The works of the renowned Huelva painter decorate each villa, turning them into authentic small museums where they pay homage to the family's great-grandfather. Manuel Cruz is the genuine representative in Huelva of costumbrista painting, whose works are endowed with a polished technique and a great vision of the society of the time.

According to tradition, copper craftsmanship began in the Middle Ages when the Monastery installed doors made of this metal. Cauldrons for keeping water hot by the fire, chocolate pots, or precious pitchers worked by master craftsmen for generations.

OUR SHOP

A tribute to the craftsmanship of the people of Guadalupe

A careful selection of local products available to our guests. Gold and silverware, lace and embroidery, ceramics or wicker basketry demonstrate the skill of the craftsmanship works that are still maintained in the Villuercas.

Handmade embroideries are a piece of art, traditionally made by the women of the area. Bursting with color and good taste on linen, cloths, bedspreads or towels.
